Formula 1: World Champion Verstappen on Mexico Pole

Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen has the pole position secured for the Mexican Grand Prix.

The twice champion referenced in red bull in qualifying on Saturday (October 29, 2022) Mercedes driver George Russell and his teammates Lewis Hamilton to places two and three. The Mexican was fourth Sergio Perez in the second red bull.

For Verstappen it is the 19th pole of his career, with a win in the race on Sunday (9:00 p.m. CET) he would be the sole record holder in this category with 14 wins this season.

Schumacher and Vettel retired early
