Formula 1 | Villeneuve gets married in Paddock Chapel in Las Vegas

What is definitely a must when visiting Las Vegas? Most people probably think of three things: casinos, Elvis Presley impersonators and, of course, getting married. Formula 1 even set up its own small paddock chapel at its premiere in the players’ city, in case anyone gets the urge.

And in fact, there was even someone who wanted to get married in this chapel. Former Formula 1 world champion Jacques Villeneuve tied the knot with his long-term girlfriend Giulia Marra on Thursday evening. This is the Canadian’s third marriage.

Villeneuve and the women – that’s his own story. During his career, the ex-pilot has been seen with many different partners at his side. First he was in a relationship with a Canadian student named Sandrine Gros D’Aillon, then followed the Australian singer Danii Minogue, Kylie Minogue’s sister.

After another relationship with the American ballerina Ellen Green, Villeneuve married for the first time in 2006, to the Frenchwoman Johanna Martinez. Three years later the two divorced. The second wedding to the Brazilian Camila Andrea Lopez Lillo took place in 2012.

He is currently dating the Italian Giulia Marra, whom he has now publicly married in Las Vegas. The couple has two children together, a son and a daughter. In total, Villeneuve has already become a father six times – he has two children with each of his spouses.
