After the Monaco Grand Prix, Formula 1 competition management is investigating both Red Bulls of winner Sergio Pérez and Max Verstappen, who finished third. Ferrari has filed a protest because, according to the Italian racing stable, the two drivers would not have returned to the track according to the rules after a tire change. Pérez and Verstappen would have crossed the solid yellow line when leaving the pit lane.
Motorsport association FIA sent out a message that a representative of Red Bull must report to the race management. If the drivers receive a penalty, it may cost Pérez and Verstappen the victory and third place respectively.
