McLaren driver Lando Norris missed the start of the Grand Prix weekend in Sao Paulo with suspected food poisoning.
As his English Formula 1 team announced, the 22-year-old feels uncomfortable. Therefore he will spend the day in the hotel. Media appointments are primarily scheduled for Thursday.
Norris is expected back for the start of training in Interlagos on Friday.
Before the penultimate race of the season in Brazil, the Englishman Norris is seventh in the World Championship. His gap to sixth place is already 101 points.
