The Italian Mattia Binotto remains team boss of the Formula 1 racing team Ferrari.
This emerges from the new management structure that the sports car manufacturer from Maranello presented on Monday. The 52-year-old has held the post since 2019.
After the weak 2020 season, Ferrari shortened the gap to the top last year and improved by three positions to third in the constructors’ championship.
In the coming season, Ferrari is considered a candidate for another significant leap forward. The racing team started developing the racing car for 2022 earlier than other teams.
Then a fundamentally changed technical regulation takes effect in Formula 1, especially the highly complex aerodynamics are simplified.
