Berlin (AP) – Formula 1 driver Kevin Magnussen sees parallels between his Haas teammate Mick Schumacher and his dad Michael.
“Like his father Michael, he is very meticulous. To see how Mick pays attention to every little detail is impressive,” said the Dane in an interview with “Sport Bild” and continued to praise the 23-year-old son of record world champion Michael Schumacher: ” “He’s a top driver. Many say he’s only in F1 because of his last name. That’s not true. He withstood the pressure that his name brings and delivered.”
The 29-year-old Dane Magnussen has been driving with Schumacher at the US racing team Haas since this season. “Mick is getting better from week to week, has already reached a new level in the first races of this season,” said Magnussen: “He will be scoring his first points in the near future.” While the German has yet to pick up World Cup points, Magnussen has had a strong start to the year.
