Bouncy Castle Canada
After a two-year break in Canada, the track is causing a well-known problem. Bouncing has returned and is causing displeasure among drivers. Lewis Hamilton in particular complains about the conditions as well as about the car, with which he is not at all happy. In the 2nd practice session, he only finished 13th, which of course is far too little for a record world champion. At least Russel stayed in the top 7.

surprises in pursuit
The veteran stars have turned up quite well in Montreal so far. Fernando Alonso only got the third fastest time before P5 followed in the second practice session. In addition to the Spaniard, a German also came up trumps. Sebastian Vettel surprised the spectators when he moved up to fourth position late in the evening. After the once again strong race in Baku, some expectations now rest on the Heppenheimer.

Verstappen in Montréal
In the first two training sessions, the reigning world champion was in the lead. While he left Carlos Sainz a good two tenths behind in the first session, Charles Leclerc crawled up to 0.081 seconds in the second practice session. Pérez has not yet been able to really get involved in these duels. First he was fourth, before it was only rank 11 late in the evening.
