The legendary Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari returned to the calendar in 2020 due to the corona crisis. Last year there was also racing in Imola. That was then the second race of the season – won by Max Verstappen – and this year the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix is scheduled as the fourth race on 24 April.
Formula 1 has now confirmed that it will continue to race at least until 2025 Imola, on the infamous circuit where Ayrton Senna and Roland Ratzenberg lost their lives in 1994.

This year, Formula 1 drivers are waiting for a record 23 races, if the deleted Russia is replaced by another Grand Prix. It is already certain that matches in China and Qatar will be on the calendar again for 2023. Formula 1 also hopes to go to Las Vegas in the near future. With all those expansions, it seems inevitable that races will also disappear. For example, the contract of Spa-Francorchamps expires after this year.
