Former world champion boxer Amir Khan was found to be doping!

Former world champion British boxer Amir Khan was found to be doping in his last match.

In the statement made by the Great Britain Anti-Doping Agency, it was stated that the 36-year-old boxer, who was found to have banned anabolic ostarine in his blood, was banned from participating in all sports activities for two years.

Acknowledging that he violated doping rules, Khan said he did not take the substance intentionally. The Pakistani-born British boxer, whose sentence was started as of April 6, 2022, will not be able to participate in any professional sporting events until April 5, 2024.

Former light middleweight world champion Khan, who won 34 of his 40 career matches, announced his retirement in May last year after losing to Brook in the 6th round in his last match.
