Former US defense secretary: Trump wanted to fire missiles at Mexican drug labs

Former President Donald Trump is said to have asked his Defense Secretary Mark Esper in 2020 if it was possible to launch missiles at Mexico to “destroy the drug labs” and wipe out the cartels. The US involvement in such an attack could be kept a secret, Trump suggested. Esper writes so in his book A Sacred Oath, his memoir about the years (2019-2020) that he served as the 45th president. The book has been seen by various American media.
