The head of a US think tank has been charged with allegedly acting illegally as a Chinese representative. Federal prosecutors in Manhattan said on Monday (local time) that Gal Luft allegedly attempted to broker the sale of weapons and Iranian oil. At the time, he was working as an adviser to Donald Trump, who had just won the 2016 US presidential election.
