Former alderman of the Zutphen municipality Mathijs ten Broeke (33) is shifting his focus to national politics. On Tuesday it was announced that he is in eighth place on the list of candidates of the Socialist Party (SP) for the parliamentary elections on November 22. He started his administrative career in 2018 as an alderman in Zutphen, as a youngster of the college. In the end, he turned out to be the only one of the five-member college who sang the entire four-year ride.
