Mehmet Oğuz, one of the former players of the A National Team, who also played in Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, passed away.
Regarding Mehmet Oğuz’s death, the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) said, “We have learned with deep sadness that Mehmet Oğuz, one of the valuable names of Turkish football, the former player of the National Team, passed away. 19 of them are from the National Team and 6 of them. Mehmet Oğuz, who wore our Crescent-Star jersey 25 times, including the U-21 National Team, served as the captain for many years in Galatasaray, where he started football.
In memory of Mehmet Oğuz, a minute’s silence will be observed in all competitions to be played on November 27 and 28. May God have mercy on the late Mehmet Oğuz; We express our condolences to his family, relatives, Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe and the entire sports community.
