The Assembly of Melilla has unanimously agreed to declare “persona non grata & rdquor; to former minister María Antonia Trujillo after her statements about Melilla Y Ceuta, held last week in Tetouan.
In an extraordinary and urgent plenary session, all the parliamentary groups attending have given their approval to an institutional declaration proposed by the Presidency of the Autonomous Citywhich had already been approved by the Board of Spokespersons.
The House has approved the declaration “persona non grata” to María Antonia Trujillo for her statements, “in which the sovereignty of our two cities is questioned, an issue that is beyond any doubt” for historical, cultural, social and political reasons.
This is stated in the statement, read by the secretary of the Assembly, in which it is described as a “disloyalty & rdquor; the statements of the former minister, as well as a “contempt & rdquor; to the feelings of the people of Melilla and the people of Ceuta.
the deal has already been published in an extraordinary edition of the Official Gazette of Melilla (BOME).
The approval of this institutional statement has been preceded in Melilla by numerous statements rejecting the words of the former minister over the last few days.
