Former German minister Wolfgang Schäuble died on Tuesday at the age of 81. Schäuble was, among other things, Minister of the Interior and was also President of the Bundestag. Yet outside Germany he is best known as Minister of Finance under Chancellor Angela Merkel during the euro crisis.
