The former Lamas are going to make six episodes for streaming service Videoland. The cabaret group, which has been going through life under the name Tafkal since last year, announced this on Friday evening in the talk show Jinek.
After the summer, the episodes should appear on the streaming service of RTL. It is then almost fourteen years ago that the popular TV program with Ruben van der Meer, Tijl Beckand, Ruben Nicolai, Jeroen van Koningsbrugge and presenter Patrick Lodiers disappeared from the tube.
The Lama’s made the program of the same name for BNN from 2004 to 2008. The comic improvisation show, which previously also featured Arie Koomen and Sara Kroos, became a great success with a Gouden Televizier-Ring as the award in 2006.
At the tenth anniversary in 2014, a one-off reunion episode was made. The comedians made their comeback in 2017 with shows in the Ziggo Dome. Last year it was announced that Nicolai, Beckand, Van der Meer and Van Koningsbrugge would continue under the name Tafkal, which stands for The artists formerly known as Lama’s. This year and next year they will play in Dutch theaters several times.
