Portuguese defender Bruno Alves, who also played in Fenerbahçe for a while, announced that he quit football at the age of 40.
Alves, in his statement on his Instagram account, said, “Today I declare that I have finished my football career with gratitude for everything, I would like to thank all my club managers, teammates, coaches and people who have always been involved in my sports life, my family and friends. Thank you,” he said.
