Jolida Voetelink, former councilor for the PvdA in the municipality of Meppel, has died at the age of 63. From 2019 until last year’s municipal elections, she was party leader of the party.
Voetelink was from 2018 to 2022 for the PvdA in the city council in Meppel. She no longer put herself up for election for last year’s elections, but was still on the election list as a pusher of the list.
Since 2018 she was director of the BHS Gorredijk in Friesland. She was previously a director in this public secondary school.
She passed away on December 25 after an illness and was privately cremated on December 30.
