American actress Darris Love, 42, was arrested on Christmas Eve in Los Angeles for domestic violence. His girlfriend told police that she was getting some things from her apartment when she got into an argument with Love.
The girlfriend told police that after a brief exchange, Love hit her in the back of the head. TMZ’s however, according to sources, he was not injured in the situation.
Police decided to arrest Love after debriefing both sides of the incident. After spending about ten hours in custody, Love posted $20,000 bail and was released. Soon after, the actor shared a 12-minute long message on his Instagram account related to the Christmas holidays and religion.
Love performed Ray Alvarado on Nickelodeon’s The Secret World of Alex Mack. He has also starred in other series such as Angel, Life in Philadelphia, Sister, Sister and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
