Former German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder (SPD) is visiting the Russian capital Moscow. Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov said no meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin are planned, but contact “cannot be ruled out”. When asked whether he would meet Putin, Schröder replied to RTL that he is “on vacation for a few days”. “Moscow is a beautiful city,” said the man.
