Former captain of FC Emmen, Mike te Wierik has signed a contract with Heracles Almelo. The 33-year-old defender signs for a year at the club from the Eredivisie.
The past two weeks in Wierik has been training with Heracles to keep his condition up to date. Mike te Wierik came into action 93 times on behalf of FC Emmen and scored six times.
Te Wierik now returns to his old site Heracles. Between 2010 and 2017 he already played 162 games for the Almelose club.
