According to reports in the Australian press, 37-year-old former Beşiktaş football player Bobo, who plays for Sydney in the Australian League, announced that he will retire at the end of the season. The Brazilian football player will play his last game on May 7 and will put an end to his football life.


“NOT AN EASY DECISION”


Expressing that it was not an easy decision, Bobo expressed that he was happy with his career with the following words:


“It’s not an easy decision, but I’ve been in this game for 19 years and I’ve thought a lot about it this season. I played 10 years in Turkey, five years in Brazil and four years in Sydney, it’s a long journey. When I look back on my career, I have to be happy because I played in big clubs in Turkey, big clubs in Brazil and the most successful club in Australia, so I have very good memories.”


He played in Beşiktaş for 5 years.


Bobo, who played for Beşiktaş between 2006 and 2011, showed 94 goals and 34 assists in 220 matches with a black and white jersey. The Brazilian striker football player also played in Kayserispor and Alanyaspor in the Super League.
