Former AZ player Mousa Dembélé will retire from football. He announced this on his Instagram page.
Dembélé played for AZ from 2006 to 2010. He appeared in 148 games and scored 33 times. In the 2008-2009 season, the left striker became national champion with AZ.
After his period at AZ he went to England where he played for Tottenham Hotspur and Fulham. He is currently under contract with the Chinese Guangzhou. He is under contract there for one more season and after that he will stop playing football.
