The intended coalition parties PvdA, Leefbaar Borger-Odoorn, VVD, CDA and ChristenUnie will ask the municipal council of Borger-Odoorn on Monday to appoint Piet Adema as formateur.
Informant Johan van Tiel issued his advice on the coalition formation in Borger-Odoorn on Monday. De Emmenaar advises further exploration of a coalition of PvdA, Leefbaar Borger-Odoorn, VVD, CDA and ChristenUnie.
The five parties that want to form the new council together then found Piet Adema, former deputy of Friesland and former acting mayor of Borger-Odoorn, willing to take on this role that same evening.
Order for formation process
On Wednesday afternoon an introductory meeting between the forming parties and the formateur followed, and the contours for the process and planning were discussed.
The parties will propose to the council in a public meeting on Monday to appoint Adema as formateur and instruct him for the formation process.
