The mayors of Toledo, Guadalajara, Real city and Queen’s Talavera (Toledo) already have PP mayors thanks to agreements with Vox, while the PP also governs in Albacetebut in a minority as it was the most voted list, and in Puertollano (Ciudad Real), and Cuenca is the only capital of Castilla la Mancha with socialist mayor.
In Albacete, Manuel Serrano is the new mayor and in his first words has reached out to “dialogue” and has reiterated that “my only pact is with Albacete and the people of Albacete”.
In this Town Hall, each group has voted for its candidate, so that the popular Manuel Serrano has obtained 12 votes; the socialist Emilio Sáez 10; José Ramón Conesa, Vox candidate, four, and Nieves Navarro, from United We Can, his.
In Toledo, the popular Carlos Velázquez has been invested mayor with the support of the four councilors of Vox, with which they have an absolute majority, while the 11 PSOE councilors have voted for the socialist candidate, Milagros Tolón, and the councilor for Unidas Podemos has voted for himself.
One of its objectives will be to ensure that “starting tomorrow” the Junta de Castilla-La Mancha is one more “ally”so that Toledo advances in matters that are regional competence and in those that correspond to the Government of Spain.
In Ciudad Real, Francisco Cañizares has been elected mayor with the eleven votes of the councilors of his formation, PP, and the four votes of Vox, whose spokesman, Ricardo Chamorro, has thanked Cañizares for his decision to want to count on Vox to form a “strong and stable” government in which Vox “will leave his skin in defense of the citizens.”

In Cuenca, the socialist Darío Dolz has been elected mayor for the second consecutive time by receiving 12 of the 25 votes from the corporation, ten from the PSOE and two from Cuenca nos Une.
In his first speech as mayor in his second term, Dolz has opted to promote the economic development of the city, and has recalled that now “there are more investments underway in Cuenca than in the last two decades & rdquor ;.
Likewise, in Talavera de la Reina (Toledo) the pact between the PP and Vox has made the popular José Julián Gregorio mayor, who in his first speech has indicated that “the objective is for Talavera to improve together with Vox.”
And in Puertollano, the businessman Miguel Ángel Ruiz has become the first mayor of the PP after 44 years of socialist governments and will govern with a simple majority, with its ten councillors.
