NEW YORK (dpa-AFX) – The euro is continuing its descent of the past few months at high speed. In US trading, it fell as low as $1.0235, its lowest level in around 20 years. An hour before the Wall Street close, the common currency was trading at $1.0261. The European Central Bank set the reference rate at 1.0290 (Monday: 1.0455) dollars.
