The woman was handed over to the police, then arrested and is now in jail, says a spokeswoman for the action group Red Het Sterrebos. As a result of this arrest around 10:15 pm Wednesday evening, there are only two occupiers left in the forest.
One occupier shared a self-built hut in an old oak in the Sterrebos with the unfortunate woman, and is now left alone in the tree house. The other occupier lies in a hammock covered with plastic sheeting at the edge of the forest along the Rijksweg Susteren-Sittard.
