Forest fires hit Southern Europe: evacuations, destruction and injuries | Abroad

Appeal: do you also have to deal with evacuations abroad?

MARMARIS – More than 3,500 people have been evacuated to escape a forest fire in southwestern Turkey. They have had to abandon 450 houses on the Datca peninsula, on the Aegean coast. The fire is now under control. Two large forest fires raged in the French Gironde on Wednesday night. About 6,000 campers were evacuated south of Arcachon. There are also forest fires in Spain and Portugal.
