CAZAUX – The large forest fire off the coast southwest of Bordeaux has reached a town that has already been evacuated. The approximately 4,000 people in Cazaux were evacuated on Thursday. At least seven buildings burned down on Friday on the shore of the lake where Cazaux is located. The town’s tourist harbor is also said to have been damaged by the fire, according to local media. It is the first property damage reported from Gironde since two wildfires broke out on Tuesday.
