The European Clubs Association (ECA) general assembly held in Istanbul came to an end.
ECA President Nasser Al-Khelaifi, speaking at the press conference held after the meeting where European club representatives came together at the Çırağan Hotel, said that the meeting took place in a very productive and positive atmosphere.
About the European Super League, which some clubs in Europe continue to support, Al-Khelaifi said, “Teams that want to establish the European Super League participate in UEFA organizations and celebrate their success. Everything is going well. There is no such thing as a European Super League at the moment, and there is no such thing as a European Super League. There won’t be time.” said.
“Maybe THIS SEASON, A FOREIGN REFEREE WILL COME”
ECA Board Member and Fenerbahce President Ali Koç, “Can there be a foreign arbitrator practice in Turkey?” “I will choose my words carefully. He tried different federations such as Greece and Saudi Arabia. We are currently missing 5-6 referees from the 20 elite referees that should be. Maybe this season can be tried.”
Stating that the matches in Turkey stopped a lot and there was a loss of time compared to the matches in Europe in the normal time of 8-10 minutes, Koç said that the matches in Europe were more fluent.
