Forced break for NHL goalie Grubauer

National goalkeeper Philipp Grubauer has to take a break of at least one week in the professional ice hockey league NHL. Because of an unspecified lower body injury, the Rosenheimer was put on the so-called “injured reserve list” by the Seattle Kraken. The club announced this on Tuesday.

Grubauer, 2018 Stanley Cup winner with the Washington Capitals, was injured on Friday in the game against his former club Colorado Avalanche (3-2). According to NHL regulations, the 30-year-old cannot be used again until next week at the earliest.
