The trial for a spectacular case began in Moabit on Thursday: judicial officer Grit A. (55), married, has been working in the Tegel prison for over 15 years. But then the trained educator began a fateful affair with a Knacki (38).
Damian M. (38) was a coke taxi driver and served his sentence in Tegel in 2022. That’s where the toxic prison affair began – Grit A. fell in love with the drug dealer. After his release, the trained mechatronics engineer is said to have persuaded the officer to smuggle prohibited goods into prison in her car.
Justice spokesman Sebastian Büchner: “Both are said to have agreed to bring mobile phones and accessories to the JVA.“
And this is how the import smuggling went: Grit A., mother of an adult son, made an appointment in the company’s own workshop. The drugs then entered the jail through the security checkpoint. Hidden under the seats. The judicial officer does not want to know who exactly took the goods from her car.
Only a tip from an unwelcome competitor caused the lively trade worth 80,000 euros to collapse.
On the fringes of the hearing, her defense attorney announced that the woman would make a partial confession. “She’s not completely innocent,” the attorney said. She assumed cell phones, not drugs. The statement from the 37-year-old said the woman was “informed about every delivery”.
