KISS are currently on their last live tour, after which the heavy metal band wants to retire from the stage. In honor of the band’s final concerts, which will take place at Madison Square Garden on December 1st and 2nd, various promotions and events will take place throughout New York City under the motto #KISSNYCTAKEOVER.
From KISS cookies to taxi fleets
On the official one End Of The Road website You can currently find an interactive map of the city of New York with all kinds of marked spots. These include photo spots, such as the place of origin of the DRESSED TO KILL cover or newsstands of a KISS newspaper. You can find a list of all the program items for the farewell project here:
- KISSTORE POP-UP (November 30th – March 12th)
- KISS NYC Takeover Google Maps – Find all KISS activation points throughout the city
- KISS Subway Tickets – 50,000 limited-edition KISS-branded subway tickets will be issued at Penn Station and Herald Square Station
- New York Rangers KISS Game Night at Madison Square Garden (November 29th)
- New York Post Activation (November 29th – January 12th) – KISS brand ambassadors distribute newspaper supplements and commemorative KISS cookies
- Digital displays in Penn Station (November 30-February 12)
- KISS Taxi Fleet (11/30) – Unique KISS-clad taxis will be operating throughout the city
- Peloton – KISS is Peloton’s newest artist series with on-bike, tread, row and app classes coming to the Peloton platform on November 30th
- Prince Street Pizza – KISS-themed pizza and KISS collection box for all KISS pizza orders
- Inked NYC (12/1-12) – Free KISS flash tattoos and face painting offered at Inked NYC
- RIPNDIP – Exclusive KISSxRIPNDIP items will be available for purchase in the RIPNDIP store on
Concert in your own four walls
If you are not currently in New York City and still want to recreate the live experience of the heavy metal icons, you can bring the concert feeling home. In recent years, KISS have also released many of their performances as live albums. Their current album “KISS OF THE SOUNDBOARD LIVE IN POUGHKEEPSIE” contains partially incomplete but authentic recordings from their concert in 1984.
