A year has passed since the end of Daft Punk
Meanwhile, almost exactly a year ago, Daft Punk announced their split. Most recently, the last album to date was released in 2013 with “Random Access Memories” and also the biggest hit of the dance duo with “Get Lucky”. The musicians are regarded as pioneers of French House and Future Funk. They made their breakthrough in 1997 with their debut album “Homework”. That’s when they shot to fame with singles like “Da Funk” and “Around The World.” They are also remembered for their performances with robotic helmets.
To mark their farewell, they released a video called “Epilogue” when they broke up. Scenes from the film “Electroma” are shown, with excerpts from the Daft-Punk song “Touch”.
