Several injured students from Kudamm were eyewitnesses when a man crashed into a carnival procession in Volkmarsen, Hesse, in 2020.
The rampage in City-West with a dead teacher and 32 injured – nine days later, two victims are still being treated in hospitals. Your condition should be stable, as reported by the RBB.
Among the injured were children from a school class from Bad Arolsen in northern Hesse. They have since been able to return to their homeland, but continue to receive intensive care.
Because it is particularly tragic: Some of the students have already witnessed a rampage: In 2020, a then 29-year-old had steered his car into a carnival parade in Volkmarsen, Hesse. 88 people, including 26 children, were injured, some seriously.
The amok driver from Kudamm (29), who had deliberately driven his vehicle into crowds on Kurfürstendamm and Tauentzienstraße, was admitted to a psychiatric clinic at the request of the public prosecutor.
He is charged with murder and 17 counts of attempted murder.

According to a spokesman for the Berlin public prosecutor’s office, witnesses are still being questioned and the investigation is not yet complete.
