Brussels is licking its wounds after the havoc left behind by hundreds of rioters during the demonstration in the heart of the capital. Traffic infrastructure, garbage cans, but also catering establishments and apartment blocks were again the target of destruction on Sunday. Entrepreneurs and residents are more than tired of the almost weekly violence. “This is the last straw”, says Hendrik Duenk (56) disappointed. “I’ll be out of here soon.”
