This would surpass another mega transfer: Real Madrid apparently secured a much sought-after youngster from France.
France international Aurélien Tchouameni joins Real Madrid in the summer. This reports “The Athletic”. The defensive strategist comes to the new season from AS Monaco and therefore costs more than 100 million euros.
The last details are still being clarified. Real would have prevailed against Paris St. Germain, Liverpool FC and Manchester United in the campaign for the youngster – all of whom should also have been very interested in the 22-year-old.
Tchouameni made 50 competitive appearances for the Monegasque team last season, scoring five goals and providing the assists for three more. The midfielder made his debut for the French national team last September and has since made nine international appearances (one goal). Tchouameni’s contract in Monaco originally ran until 2024.
