The legend of the stormy sky Eino Grön86, heads to Linna’s party on Independence Day. Before that, the singer will perform in Sweden at the Kari Tapio 80th anniversary concert for a Swedish-Finnish audience.
Grön’s head is not cold due to a brisk week, on the contrary.
– Enthusiastic and in a good mood, I leave for Linna. There you always meet people from years ago, with whom you may not have otherwise been in contact, says Eino Grön.
He goes to the party alone without a companion.
– Getting the invitation was a great surprise!
The last time he was at the Independence Day celebrations during Sauli Niinistö’s tenure was in 2019, and the celebrations were memorable even then. The outfit is already ready for the party hosted by Alexander Stubb.
– I tried on my tailcoat, and it didn’t really fit anymore. I have a very traditional party outfit, and it’s handsome, you can’t fault it, says the singer.
In 2019, he represented Independence Day at the reception in a tailcoat, which, according to his own words, he had dug out of his basement.
Grön can’t say yet if he’ll go for a spin on the parquet floor.
– Yes, I would love to dance if a nice situation comes up. If there is a familiar person there without a partner, why not go for a spin on the parquet.

“Boli can surprise”
The Iskelmä singer tells the first-timers of the castle’s party his tips for survival.
– It’s exciting there. At the beginning, there is an atmosphere of waiting to see what it will be like there, but already in the initial queue it becomes easier. You just have to behave in the same way as others, Eino Grön instructs.
– Booli can surprise someone there, and the food is such a small bite, he describes.
Grön reminds that receiving an invitation is always a great honor, and there are happy people there to spend the evening.
After the party, the singer’s normal everyday life comes again, where he plans to perform a new one My way is the way of the pole -song to his listeners.
– It’s okay for an 86-year-old, quite a nice tango, he assesses in his modest style, a little twinkle in the corner of his eye.
Eino Grön gigs hard and sings in his Christmas concerts. – I will perform next on December 8 in Lauttasaari, the legend lingers. Petri Anikari
