For earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria: Sevilla’s Telles is auctioning off a signed jersey

The self-enrichment sucks .. as if it would be so great to donate a jersey from a millionaire. Some have nothing and donate more, but a lot of money makes you stingy

My first thought about this comment would probably result in a ban, so I’ll ask with the core behind it or the basic idea:

How does the clever user bvbborussiafan think that one can draw attention to those auctions without naming the player or club from which the jersey came and was signed?

“Well-known person from the professional sports sector provides a hand-lettered fabric shirt”?

Or should one rather wait 6 months until the earthquake is probably gone from most of the minds of those not affected.. but have a large collection of jerseys together to collect much-needed money locally?

Please explain, I’m curious.

I’m not the author of the post, but I think that was meant differently than you understand it.

If you break it very roughly over your knee, a multimillionaire will sign a piece of fabric and here it is advertised to be able to bid on this piece of fabric to do something good. Of course there are also some well-heeled collectors, but the whole forum is addressed here. The players themselves also receive a certain amount of positive attention.

I can understand somewhere that a certain “taste” is created here and I don’t think the campaign was chosen as a completely happy one.

However, it doesn’t matter if a good amount comes together to help people. In addition, one does not know whether and how much the individual players donate personally. This is private and should also be respected.
