OFC – Sparta Rotterdam

For OFC, the match started dramatically. After three minutes, Pieter Mulders’ team was already behind by a goal from Jason Lokilo. The match was played at the Purmersteijn complex, because the light installation in Oostzaan was not satisfactory according to the KNVB. After twenty minutes, OFC equalized via Niels Butter. The striker, who will play for IJsselmeervolgels next season, used a penalty and then saw his team hold out for a long time.

After the break, the Oostzaners continued to fight for what they were worth. The young reserve goalkeeper Ischa Bouwman often kept his team going. In the final phase, the cup dream shattered. Substitute Tobias Lauritsen scored two goals, eliminating OFC: 3-1.
