In Bruges, three academics from the VUB want to establish an international secondary school for gifted and highly sensitive students: Buckminster College, a new method school. Because the school will not adhere to the curriculum of the Flemish government, it will not receive any subsidies. That is why the initiators are looking for sponsors, because otherwise the registration fee will be 10,000 euros per year. “And we don’t want to become an elite school,” says director Marta Lenartowicz.
