Record winners Real Madrid have won the Club World Cup for the fifth time. The Champions League winner defeated the Asian representative Al-Hilal from Saudi Arabia 5: 3 (2: 1) in the final in Rabat, Morocco on Saturday evening (02/11/2023).
Rio world champion Toni Kroos celebrated the 30th title of his career. Vinicius Junior (13th/69th), Federico Valverde (18th/58th) and Karim Benzema (54th) scored for the Spanish record champions. Moussa Marega (26th) and Luciano Vietto (63rd/79th) were successful for Al-Hilal.

Kroos, who won the Club World Cup for the sixth time, and national player Antonio Rüdiger were in the starting line-up for the royal team.
“We’re very happy, it was a good game. We had a lot of quality up front”, said coach Carlo Ancelotti. With the victory of the Madrilenians, the tenth title in a row went to a team from Europe. Chelsea FC had won last year.
Flamengo secures third place
