The Dutch football players have booked a big win over Finland at the Tournoi de France: 3-0. Katja Snoeijs scored twice in Le Havre’s Stade Océane. Caitlin Dijkstra scored the opening goal.

Lieke Martens from Nieuw-Bergen, Romée Leuchter from Schinveld and Janou Levels from Herten are part of the selection.

Changing of the Guard
National coach Mark Parsons used the duel with the Finns to see some other players at work. Lieke Martens, Sari van Veenendaal, Lineth Beerensteyn, Victoria Pelova and Stefanie van der Gragt remained on the bench. Jackie Groenen only had to participate in the last half hour. Keeper Daphne van Domselaar and Kayleigh van Dooren made their debut in the basic formation of Orange.

Joëlle Smits, Renate Jansen, Jill Roord, Dominique Janssen and Lynn Wilms cannot play at the Tournoi de France ‘due to the corona protocols’. Daniëlle van de Donk and Shanice van de Sanden were already excluded from the selection for the tournament in France due to injuries.

The Netherlands, which drew against Brazil (1-1) on Wednesday, will play against host country France on Tuesday.
