The Amsterdam AGB was forced to play the game against Vitesse ’22 without an audience on Sunday. “We set off fireworks in the final match against Heino last season. That is why we had to play without an audience today,” says trainer Imdat Ilguy.
The KNVB imposed this punishment on the team from Amsterdam. “I hope that our supporters now know how to deal with expressions. I hope this is the last time,” says AGB chairman Orhan Aslan.
Comfortless
“If you see how much public we have recently attracted, this is desolate and a shame,” Ilguy is disappointed. On Sunday, the decor of the match is indeed not really cozy. Nevertheless, the club is doing well in terms of membership. “When I came here six years ago, we had four teams. There are now about thirty-five, including twenty youth teams,” says Aslan.
NH Sport accompanied the first team of trainer Imdat Ilguy for a day on Sunday and made the above report.
