Playing with opposites seemed to play an important role in the street styles at London Fashion Week for SS24. The wearers placed particular emphasis on the contrast between sporty and elegant. But silhouettes and color gradients were also part of it.
Bloquette
The Bloecore trend with its fascination for football culture was already an integral part of the street styles at men’s fashion weeks. Now follows the slightly more feminine offshoot ‘Blokette’, which refines tendencies from the casual fan style with a more classic, fashionable style.
The football jersey can be combined with a short skirt and the sporty shorts can be part of a more neat look with a sweater and blouse. But other statement pieces that are reminiscent of team sports can also be woven into a more elegant wardrobe and thus create a special contrast.
Wide tulle skirts
The wearers of wide tulle skirts showed that it doesn’t just have to be sporty accents that contrast with an elegant piece. The skirts, both colorful and in simple tones, attracted attention particularly because of their volume.
Instead of combining this with a simple top and cardigan, the top can be a little wilder, like a sporty jacket with a print, or something more Scandinavian with a colorful knitted sweater over a blouse. Depending on your style, a few statement boots will complete the look. If it’s a little more chic, you can also choose high heels.
Double denim
The following trend, on the other hand, is a real classic. Double denim, i.e. the combination of two pieces of jeans, is a recurring trend that expresses itself through its individuality this season. The wearers bring together different denim tones and patterns, but also rely on tone on tone. There is also no clear line drawn when it comes to the width of the trousers or whether it should be a skirt.
However, most visitors to London Fashion Week are sure that it should be more of a casual look with an open denim jacket. Skirts like jellyfish and corals

More specifically, these colorful, flowing skirts are reminiscent of coral reefs as well as the tentacles of jellyfish.
