For reasons of sustainability, the venues were divided into three clusters. The north/northeast zone includes Berlin, Hamburg and Leipzig, then the west with Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Gelsenkirchen and Cologne and the south with Frankfurt, Munich and Stuttgart. In each group there are only games in two clusters to reduce travel distances.
No qualifiers for Germany
The draw for the final round is to take place in December 2023 in the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, and the international media center will be in Leipzig. The German national team has already qualified for the tournament as hosts, the qualification will be drawn next October in Frankfurt.
The DFB was awarded the tournament in September 2018, the opponent in the decision in Nyon was Turkey. At the last pan-European finals in summer 2021, Munich hosted three preliminary round games and one quarter-final. The Bavarian state capital is also hosting the final of the Champions League 2025.
