Mid-term conclusion:
VfL Wolsburg leads 3-0 against Werder Bremen after the first 45 minutes. The leadership is also well deserved at altitude. Alexandra Popp scored VfL’s first goal in the 11th minute. Bremen then kept up well and even had the chance to equalize. As the playing time increased, however, the Wolves pressed more and more on the opposing goal. Shortly before the break, Tommy Stroot’s team were rewarded for their strong performance: Tabea Waßmuth (40′) and Alexandra Popp (43′) made it 2-0 and 3-0.
