Then it’s break, Hoffenheim is 0-1 behind against Mainz. The hosts are the dominant team in the game, without being able to create any real chances. After a phase of passivity, the FSV found its counterattack again after a good half hour, scored and could have followed up. To start, let’s take a look at the lineups. At Hoffenheim, coach Pellegrino Matarazzo is making three changes compared to the last game. Brooks, Skov and Kramaric come into the starting line-up for Akpoguma, Bebou and Becker. Kramarić, Skov and Kadeřábek are returning from injuries, the first two even in the first squad. Berisha is out for a long time with a torn cruciate ligament. On the other hand, Mainz coach Jan Siewert is also rotating, but in five positions. Van den Berg, Kohr, Leitsch, da Costa and Onisiwo will be replaced by Widmer, Fernandes, Caci, Barkok and Richter.
