Augsburg had already had to pull a change option against Fürth before the break: Dorsch couldn’t continue after an aerial duel with Ngankam. He was holding his sore shoulder and had to be taken off the pitch after a five-minute break. Carlos Gruezo (39th) came in for him.
It took FCA goalkeeper Rafal Gikiewicz too long for the paramedics to get onto the pitch with the stretcher. So the Pole himself ran to the rescue workers, took the frame from them and rushed to his stricken teammate. Gikiewicz also helped lift the midfielder onto the stretcher.
