TSG have fought their way out of a slump in form over the past two weeks. Eight winless games in a row were followed by a win against BVB and then a win against Werder Bremen. As a result, Hoffenheim is suddenly back in the European places. 1899 is currently seventh and four points behind the SGE. With a win, Hoffenheim would move very close to Frankfurt.
